Volunteer

Due to mandates from Miami-Dade County Public Schools, all parents wishing to volunteer must participate in the School Volunteer Registration Program and must be cleared before permission to volunteer is granted. This mandate includes Level 1 clearance for volunteers in school events such as school events, fundraising activities, and fieldtrips.

Children who are not enrolled at Mater Bay Academy are not permitted on campus during school hours and may not attend school field trips.

Procedures for volunteering on campus and or on field trips:

1. Obtain volunteer clearance through ConciergePad. Volunteer will receive a link once they are chosen by the teacher requesting volunteer.

There is a fee for Level 1 clearance = $13.84 and Level 2 clearance (ONLY NEEDED FOR OVERNIGHT TRIPS)= $16.96

**Should additional court documentation be needed for the volunteer to be cleared, there is a Court Runner Fee of = $15.92

2.Teacher will contact Volunteer once clearance is confirmed.

3. Present valid identification to the office staff in order to obtain a visitor’s pass.

To ensure the safety of all our students, PARENTS/VISITORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BEYOND THE MAIN OFFICE WITHOUT A VISITOR’S PASS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
