Community Service

Guidelines for Community Service Project:

1. You must complete a minimum of 100 community service hours by your senior year. This is VOLUNTEER work to be completed outside school hours.


2. Hours MAY NOT be completed in a private daycare. You MAY volunteer in an after school care program at a public or charter school.

3. If you qualify for Florida Bright Futures, you must complete a minimum of 100 hours by your senior year December deadline.

4. To qualify for the “Community Service Tassel,” you must complete over 400 hours of community service and all volunteer forms must bet turned in by your senior year December deadline.

5. Complete all parts of the Community Service Form. Proposal will need to be submitted prior to competing community service volunteer hours to the activities office for approval.

6. Have the Community Service Project reviewed and signed by a parent/guardian.

7. Submit the Community Service Project form to the Activities Office.
